PHP 7 is here! Our new servers use an updated 4Admin™ control panel with PCI-DSS compliant software such as TLS 1.3+/OpenSSL 1.1 (required for services such as PayPal and credit processors as of June 30th 2018) and is strongly recommended. Click here for more information.
* Current new signup server PHP version is 7.4
** Generally, unless there is a specific reason to use PHP 5, our "Legacy" platform, most users will want to select PHP 7 for the latest in software and regular updates.
Free SSL via Let's Encrypt SSL is now available on our PHP 7 platform! (requires a Unique IP address)
A "Unique IP Address" is used to distinguish your website by separating your domain from the shared hosting IP, which is shared among all hosting
clients on your server. It provides an individual IP address which can be used for special setups, and is most commonly added for SSL. A Unique IP Address
is required to secure your website via SSL like https://www.yourdomain.com with a SSL Certificate (available in the Hosting
Control Panel after signup).
Websites that utilize SSL are more trusted and may rank higher in search engines. For SSL (and PHP 7), most users will want to select this option.
Please note that while Secured.com provides a secure storage space for processing transactions, it does -not- secure your entire website and is
generally only used with the PHP 5 (Legacy) setup and phpCart.
If you wish to secure your entire site like https://www.yourdomain.com , for secure transactions, you will instead want to purchase a SSL Certificate.
Please uncheck "Secured.com" and then select "Unique IP Address". A Unique IP is required to use a SSL Certificate.
After signup, please then use the "SSL Certificates" tool in the hosting control panel to order your SSL Certificate.
We apologize for any confusion.
Note: PHP 5 is considered "legacy" software and not recommended.
Generally, unless there is a specific reason to use PHP 5, we strongly recommend our new 4Admin platform with PHP 7 as it is modern software
and will continue to receive updates into the future.
Please be aware the while SSL is available for this platform, it will -not- be PCI-DSS SSL compliant.
