| I can't sing Paul Schultz's praises loudly enough. We have migrated to the new php7 server. Our migration was complicated by the number of sites we have and by the configuration of our directories and files.
I am a full-time volunteer for our non-profit organization, providing state-wide IT support. Because of the demands that would be placed on a volunteer, my IT friends had all advised me to avoid taking on the migration. They have also predicted it would fail. However, because of Paul, I am thrilled to say that my friends were 100% wrong! Consistently, Paul was knowledgeable, kind, patient, responsive, encouraging, and willing to teach me about server-side software as we went along. With Paul's support, the migration was completed with only a few minor issues - all of which were easily resolved. In the current world of IT support, it is unusual for a company to provide the opportunity for a support analyst to truly own the client's support request from beginning to end. Most often, you are handed off to whoever is next up. Paul was there with us every step of the way. Paul is a support ROCKSTAR and I can't say enough about how wonderful he has been to work with. | The "how are we doing" rating should be upgraded with a new rating that states: "Your service is outstanding!" I have been a webdevloper, webmaster and internet marketing professional for over 10 years, using different registrars and webhosting organizations, and I have yet to discover a webhosting service organization that tops the customer support dedication and the control panel software I have been provided at my fingertips. I never had the feeling that I was just another datafield in their client database. I have ended my search looking for a better deal for the websites I build and manage for the profit and non-profit organizations I work for, because I have found my "home" on the web at Webmasters.com. |

| Service is always good however I have a request. Since you have no shell access we are required to do everything through your control panel. As I'm sure you know this is very tedious. Having shell access would really be great especially for file and database management and especially since your file manager has some serious limitations. The most serious limitation is the way the "copy" function works. It doesn't behave the same as a UNIX or dos copy and will not overwrite files but merely puts a "copy_of" in the directory. For doing upgrades it's useless.
Can I get shell access? If not can you PLEASE fix the copy command in your file manager. Thanks, Ron Curry |
