| I'm not one that usually writes testimonials, or even send in compliments on comment cards... but once in a while, I am blow away by the quality of service. Web Masters is worthy of me taking my time to write this.
You guys don't have a high enough option in your "How are we doing?" drop box. "Your Service is excellent" just doesn't do you all justice. In this day and age of "Oh I don't care, its just an internet customer, they'll figure it out on their own".. You all stand head and shoulders above the rest. Ive had VERY few issues that weren't self-induced - and all of my problems have been addressed by you... even if I caused it. Fast responses, a message center that is on top of things... If there is ever a service outage of any kind, the message center lets me know that you know and are working on it. And the one time there was an email server problem, and it wasn't on the message center, in the 5 minutes it took for me to send you an email from another account, and receive your reply, it was already fixed and your reply explained what happened and told me it was fixed. How many companies do you know of, that responds to a service problem, ON CHRISTMAS DAY? Web Masters does... I was out of town, on a Motel ISP/WiFi and could not send emails via POP/SMTP. Turned out to be an ISP/Firewall issue with that connection. A couple emails and some port changes later, I was sending emails... just before I sat down to Christmas Dinner. Honestly, I can't believe the customer support and service that I get from you all... it seems to defy the natural order of society. Keep it up. I can't say enough good about Web Masters. I've been astonished with the service from day one, and the longer I use them, the service just gets better and better. My main experiences have been with John and Sterling. AWESOME PEOPLE!! Willing to help, listen to the problem, and fix it. Keep it up! Wade |

| My physical server at Webmasters.com was sometimes slow, with spiky errors ... something really difficult to capture but that was disturbing the service that we provide.
In a matter of hours Webmasters.com support staff detected the problem, isolated the source of malfunction and fixed the issue. Now our domains are back, up and running. Simply excellent service. |

| Outstanding service would really be a better choice, they are that good. For about 18 years I have been dealing with pretty much the same people, they know their systems. Recently I had a small issue with FTP and Ryan resolved it right away after a single email. It really is a nice to be able to work with the same people year after year. | Service is always good however I have a request. Since you have no shell access we are required to do everything through your control panel. As I'm sure you know this is very tedious. Having shell access would really be great especially for file and database management and especially since your file manager has some serious limitations. The most serious limitation is the way the "copy" function works. It doesn't behave the same as a UNIX or dos copy and will not overwrite files but merely puts a "copy_of" in the directory. For doing upgrades it's useless.
Can I get shell access? If not can you PLEASE fix the copy command in your file manager. Thanks, Ron Curry |
