fastest way to profit from owning a website is though the use of affiliate
programs. An affiliate program allows anyone to promote third party products
and services on their website in exchange for commission. There are 4
different types of affiliate programs, all of which can be lucrative for a
certain type of website: Pay Per Click, Pay Per Impression, Pay Per Search,
and Pay Per Sale. We have compiled a list of various vendors which represent

Our partners earn a 10% commission from the first year's hosting fees their referrals generate. Since our Business Hosting plan is billed annually, the minimum commission would be $11.94, and can be as high as $53.94 for an account with multiple options. Each of our partners receives their own unique linking code which is placed on their website to direct visitors to our site. We use persistent cookies to track all partner referrals, so commission will still be earned even if the visitor leaves our website, and returns up to one year later to sign up. After the first visit, returning visitors can come in directly through our website, and do not have to re-enter through the partner's site.
If a referred visitor signs up for any of our hosting plans, our tracking system will notify the referring partner that a sale has been made, and a commission is earned. We also provide real time traffic and sales stats that display the number of daily unique visitors referred by your partner link along with a detailed sales report. An active partner with targeted traffic could earn $1,000 per month and up.

Webmasters.com Reseller Program - Volume discounts
Our reseller program provides discounts from 10% and up (see schedule below) for web designers and other Internet professionals who help others obtain web hosting. There are no fees to join, and you do not have to have an existing account with us to join. To sign up new accounts, resellers are given access to a special, password protected signup form that provides real time discounts on all our hosting plans and features. Our real time stats provide reports for all reseller accounts, sorted by either month and year, or total accounts to date. A single login is used to access all control panel functions for multiple customers.

U.S. PATENT & TRADEMARK OFFICE ONLINE - Register your trademark
The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) has developed an extensive website for searching for and registering trademarks and patents. Although patents are still best registered through a lawyer, trademarks can now be registered online directly through the USPTO. There is also a real time search tool that finds all pending and registered U.S. trademarks and patents.

U.S. COPYRIGHT OFFICE
The U.S. Copyright Office maintains a library of all recorded copyrights in the United States. Most books, movies, and software programs are registered in the U.S. Copyright Office to prevent unauthorized reproduction or duplication. Although copyrights cannot be registered online yet, you can download all required forms from their website. The cost to copyright an "original work of authorship" is under $100.
